BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Riccardo Stoeckicht - Director

Riccardo has over 40 years of experience in the for-profit, non-profit, education, entrepreneurial, and consulting arenas, having lived and worked in the United States and South America. After working for 17 years as a finance and business executive with the DuPont Company in Brazil and the United States, Riccardo, and his family decided to make the U.S. their home. He launched an art distribution business, placing Latin art in the U.S. art distribution system, leveraging a brick & click strategy. Since 2003 he has been involved in the non-profit and consulting arenas, having held a number of C-Suite positions with direct service and education-focused organizations. He sat on non-profit boards in different capacities, including those of board president and board treasurer. He is currently a consultant at mevvn, LLC, and lives in Wilmington with his wife, Cecilia.

Warren R. Thompson Jr. - Director

Warren is currently a Professor in the Social Work department at Rutgers University-Newark and the Community Engagement Officer for Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District, a non-profit organization in Newark, NJ that seeks to facilitate arts and culture into local neighborhood empowerment.

Warren has a rich history of working with marginalized populations and has served as the Director of Operations for Integrity, Inc.; the Program Director of Urban Renewal Corp.'s Residential Community Corrections and Emergency Housing Divisions and the Program Director of the Residential Community Release Programs for Volunteers of America - Northern New Jersey.

Warren Thompson was raised in Westfield, NJ and currently resides in North Plainfield, NJ. He graduated from Westfield High School, and is an alumnus of Rutgers University where he achieved his Bachelor of Arts and Master degrees from the School of Social Work as an advanced standing student in Non-profit and Public Administration.

Xenia Cox - Director

Xenia Cox is a educator and an activist. For over 20 years, she managed large strategic planning, reform and restructuring initiatives for governors, mayors and superintendents seeking to improve educational outcomes particularly for undeserved students. Earlier in her career, Xenia managed large design and construction projects for schools, school districts and public agencies. Xenia has served as a Director on several founding Boards for non-profit community service and educational organizations. 

Xenia is currently working as a special projects consultant to the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University. Her research interests are focused on the impact of systemic trauma on learning. She lives in Monmouth County, New Jersey where she hikes beach and bay trails and collects shells and seaglass.
